Here are some of the questions I’m asked the most.  If you don’t see the information you’re looking for, simply send me a message and I’ll be happy to answer any queries.

What will my design look like and what is the process?
I will take the time to understand your needs before emailing you a few design ideas. Any amendments will then be made as necessary before you select a card and envelope type from the suggestions I’ve made.  Printing will not take place without your full approval.

For printed items, what sizes and styles do you offer?
I can print any size up to A4, however items with envelopes will need to fit their sizes such as A7, A6, A5, A4, DL, iRange and Square.  Larger sizes are available on request.

There are a huge variety of styles, from a simple flat card to combinations incorporating folds, layers, perforations, cut corners and embellishments.  I’ll suggest a style to suit your design and budget.

What paper, card and envelopes do you print on?
I hold a stock of regularly chosen materials, but I also search far and wide to find the perfect card and envelope type for your particular design.  When discussing an order, I’ll always give you a few options to choose from.

Do you have a minimum size order?
Design by Caroline is a bespoke service and can therefore take orders of any quantity, from a single card or picture, 10’s to 100’s of invitations, or any amount of leaflets and flyers.

What are your designs printed on?
All designs are printed on an excellent quality wax printer, leaving a wonderful smooth finish with a slight sheen. Please remember every computer displays differently, so it’s quite likely the colours on the printed version will differ slightly from what you see on your screen. Printed samples are available on request.

What do your prices include?
For printed items, all prices quoted to you will include my design fee with a reasonable number of amendments, as well as postage and packaging to the UK.  Clients living outside the UK will be asked for actual postage costs.

What payment methods do you accept?
Payment can be made by bank transfer, Pingit or cheque for those who don’t use online banking.

How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Please advise me when you need your items by and I’ll diarise your printing to fit.

Where are you based?
I’m in North/East London but as most communication with me is via email, no matter where you are in the world I’m here to assist.

I usually respond to all messages within a few hours. My mind boggles with how computers work these days, but all I know is that sometimes when replying to a message my emails go to spam, so please, if you’ve not heard from me, check your junk folder and my message should be sitting in there waiting for you.
